How to edit subtitle(5)?

Welcome to MetaOra, where you can transform your English learning with our unique Mobile App!

I want to help you learn more about editing subtitles in this video.

In this video, I want to teach you how to assign a speaker to each sentence of the video. Firstly, listen to the sentence and identify the speaker of it. Secondly, hit the first icon in the toolbar below the video player. It opens a pop-up, and you can hit the Add New part to add a new speaker. Then you can hit the newly added item and choose an avatar for the speaker. The maximum size of the picture should be 1 Megabyte.

If you want to change a speaker avatar, you can hit the close icon at the bottom of that avatar to remove it. Then hit the picture part and choose any other avatar you want from your gallery.

Now for writing a speaker’s name, hit the text part and edit it, for example, Jack, Ross, etc. Now, if you go back to the sentence, you see that the speaker’s avatar has been inserted in the toolbar.

Let’s choose another sentence’s character. I hit the character icon and look at the existing characters. As our speaker is on the list already, I don’t need to add a new one. So I hit the character, and its border is changed into green. It means this character has been selected, and you can also see his avatar in the toolbar.

Sometimes, there is a constant delay between the audio and the whole subtitle. At this point, you can hit the adjust icon and fix it.

For example, consider a 4000 milliseconds delay between the audio and subtitle. In other words, the audio is 4000 milliseconds ahead of the subtitle, and we must fix this. To do this, hit the adjust icon and enter 4000 in the text input. Then choose the back button. And eventually, apply it to the whole subtitle by hitting the Apply button.

If the audio is some milliseconds behind the subtitle, you need to hit the forward button in the form to sync them.

Just notice to save your changes by hitting the Save button in the top header.

That’s all, have a fantastic time, and bye till the next video.
